LEG Power Lochaber

LEG Power Lochaber has been appointed to develop the hydro scheme in Glenachulish.

Lochaber Environmental Group (LEG) saw the chance to develop the scheme as this is the kind of opportunity they have been trying to find for years.  The project will have a positive impact while securing the environmental work of the charity for decades to come.

There is a lot of work to do, but the prospect of running a community hydro scheme to generate low carbon electricity while funding environmental work in Lochaber is amazing and LEG Power Lochaber has been created as a community benefit society to own and operate the hydro scheme.
